CODE OF ETHICS

     An astrologer must maintain a high level of integrity in word and deed in order to be worthy of the teachings.
Code of Conduct/Personal Goals:

1. I will use my knowledge of astrology with compassion and discretion toward all
   persons.
2. I will not use knowledge of astrology to take advantage of anyone in any situation.
3. I will not dishonor SIVA and our lineage by engaging in illegal activities.
4. I will not make or distribute copies of copyrighted SIVA course materials, although
   I may show them to interested persons.
5. I will be courteous and respectful to my fellow students and my instructors.
6. I will be honest in my dealings with SIVA and will not engage in plagiarism or
   cheating.
8. I will strive for self-development by maintaining a regular spiritual/yoga practice,
   which may include the use of mantras to assist in my development as an
   astrologer.
9. I will use the designed channels for conflict resolution should such a need arise.

This code of ethics must be accepted, signed, and upheld by all SIVA students.
